Our Management Team is formed of a fresh, but experienced set of people from across the IT, Telco and Finance industries.

Jon Slinn - Managing Director 

Jon has worked in a variety of roles in a career spanning investment banking, wireless telecommunications and technology companies. Jon has worked at Morgan Stanley, Nortel Networks and was instrumental in launching the first 3G network in Europe, 3.

Prior to co-founding Rockshore, Jon was a founding member of Bitfone Europe - a mobile device management technology company.

Jon holds an Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Bristol.

Nathan Day – Business Development Director 

Nathan is an experienced IT consultant who specialises in the development of services in complex business environments.

Prior to co-founding Rockshore, Nathan has worked for Shell, BT Global Services, Aspective and Vodafone for a variety of multi-national clients.

Nathan holds a Physics degree from the University of Sheffield.

Mike Slinn – Sales Director 

Mike has a proven track record in technology sales and the management of large and complex accounts.

Prior to co-founding Rockshore, Mike worked for BT Global Services and was responsible for driving business development within the Government, Transport and Financial Services markets.

Mike holds a Chemical Physics degree from the University of Sheffield.

Howard Barton – Head of Operations 

Howard has a proven track record in the pragmatic delivery of large scale technology-based projects.

He has managed the delivery of mission-critical systems for several UK, European and American financial institutions and is a registered PRINCE2 practitioner.

Howard is studying Physics with the Open University.
